The Business Analyst (BA) program is designed for individuals who work within project teams, product development and who perform business analysis in their role. The Business Analyst works with stakeholders from all business units and related third parties to define and document business processes and software requirements for technology initiatives. The Cyber Warrior (CW) Program is a highly technical, 288-hour program with a cohesive and progressive set of learning outcomes. This program positions the individual for entry into mid-level positions as a cybersecurity professional. The Cyber Warrior engages in cyber warfare using information technology to better secure a system. The CW searches for and eliminates vulnerabilities through ethical hacking before hackers with malicious intent find and exploit them. In the Cyber Warrior Program, students learn how to build and hone the skills to attack a system and/or network with the sole purpose of identifying security loopholes. Following the initial skill development, they will learn the process and methodology of professional penetration testing. Successful graduates will learn security fundamentals, explore technical subjects such as incident response, threat hunting, cryptography, and software assurance, and explore emerging topics in both security and privacy. They will gain experience by conducting and presenting independent technical research and participation with hands-on projects. Understanding effective and ethical ways of using vast amounts of data is a significant challenge to science and to society as a whole. Developing scalable techniques for data analysis and decision making require interdisciplinary research in many areas, including machine learning, algorithms, statistics, operations research, databases, complexity analysis, visualization, analysis, visualization, and privacy and security. Through a unique combination of interdisciplinary coursework and cutting-edge research the program will enable them to apply techniques and tools of data science to applications drawing on appropriate and relevant concepts and models from the engineering, natural or social sciences.

This program provides an introduction to DevOps – the cultural and professional movement that stresses communication, collaboration, integration, and automation in order to improve the flow of work between software developers and IT operations professionals. Improved workflows will result in an improved ability to design, develop, deploy, and operate software and services faster for the benefit of the business. Students will learn the latest automation tools to examine the functionality for source code control, automated build, automated test, and automated deployment, to deliver an operational rhythm of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD). This program discusses the basic concepts of DevOps, including its philosophy, workflow, monitoring methods, and tools. Topics include: concepts and vision for DevOps; release/deployment pipelines; automated testing; monitoring production; task evaluation; skills assessment; and tool selection. Students will apply these concepts to see how they can be best implemented to automate development, test, and release practices. Students will work in teams to build functional working models of realized DevOps.

IT Help Desk technicians provide technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users who need assistance with computer hardware or software. Help Desk technicians are vital to the IT workforce, as they keep technologies that organizations rely upon to keep business operations up-to-date and running smoothly. The Help Desk Program is designed for persons seeking employment in a technical support environment. By the end of this course, participants will be able to diagnose computer errors and provide technical support, troubleshoot software, hardware and network issues, train end-users how to set up and use new technologies, backup and restore an organization’s data files and systems, install, configure and upgrade PC software and operating systems, clean and repair computer hardware, such as keyboards and printers, and provide technical support over the phone or Web and diagnose and resolve complex issues.

The Network Administration Program is designed to prepare students for a career managing and maintaining computer networks. Successful graduates will gain the necessary skills to design, organize, install, and troubleshoot networks utilizing Microsoft Windows Server 2008 operating system, the Microsoft Exchange Email Messaging system, Cisco technologies, Linux networking technologies, and automation tools such as Windows PowerShell. The student will also be trained to design and maintain a local area network (LAN). This program introduces the architecture, structure, functions, components, and models of the Internet and computer networks. The principles and structure of IP addressing and the fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media, and operations are introduced to provide a foundation for the curriculum.
