Digital organizations are moving fast and expect infrastructure changes to happen equally as fast. The only way to keep up with the rate of change with consistency and predictability is to automate network operations.
In this meetup, you will learn the benefits of applying a network and security virtualization model across your entire network to easily automate manual tasks. We will also talk about how to get started with network automation with Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
Python is widely used to perform network automation. With its wide set of libraries (such as Netmiko and Paramiko), there are endless possibilities for network device interactions for different vendors.
Ansible is an open-source automation platform and an IT configuration management, Deployment, and Orchestration Tool where we have to run tasks in sequence and create a chain of events that must happen on different servers or devices. The tool aims to provide substantial productivity gains to a wide variety of automation challenges.
Terraform is a tool for building, changing, and versioning infrastructure safely and efficiently. Terraform can manage existing and popular service providers as well as custom in-house solutions. Configuration files describe to Terraform the components needed to run a single application or your entire data center.
Thank you all for your support, we look forward to seeing you at the event!
