Understanding VR&E Program Benefits

The VR&E program offers a range of services to help eligible individuals with disabilities prepare for, obtain, and maintain suitable employment. To qualify for the program, your character of discharge must be other than dishonorable, and you must meet specific criteria related to your service or disability status.

Benefits of VR&E Program

Education Support: VR&E can assist in funding education and training programs that align with your career goals. For a Pathway program at Intellectual Point, you will want to follow the Long-Term Education Track.
Employment Assistance: The program provides job placement services, vocational counseling, and support to help you secure meaningful employment. If you wish to attend one of our Pathways, this is a great opportunity in connection with Intellectual Point’s career services.
Financial Aid: Approved participants receive financial support, including a subsistence allowance based on the training facility’s zip code, their dependency status , education methodology, and GI Bill benefits remaining. Additional funding can be provided at the discretion of the VRC for computers, vouchers for exams, etc.
Transition Assistance: Upon completion of training, additional transitional assistance may be available to support your entry into a new career path.

At Intellectual Point, we currently offer a total of 21 distinct pathways which lead to diverse vocational outcomes. Although, only 8 pathways are currently approved for VR&E. Each pathway program is a collection of courses designed to reach a program goal as well as learning objectives. Program details are listed within each pathway section with the total hours. The Network Administration Program is designed to prepare students for a career managing and maintaining computer networks.
